The world’s oceans are changing. Human activity is causing harm to marine ecosystems. Events
like the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and the massive amounts of plastic floating in the Pacific
Gyre serve as a reminder that we need to be better stewards of the environment. In this episode
of Young Xplorers, watch student scientists doing lab work to understand various marine
organisms. You will also see them working with researchers at the world famous Mote
Marine Laboratory in Sarasota Bay, Florida building ROV’s and doing field work in
